Our Terms & Conditions

  • The price for catering services shall be the price stated on the quotation or invoice. The quotation is valid only for 10 days from the date of payment of the quotation to the client.
  • We reserve the right to reject your proposal and not sending the quotation from your requirements, it depends on the availability of event date, number of guests and event location. We reserve the right to revise the catering quotes on changes to the event.
  • Any type of changes, additions or modifications in the menu or number of guests, etc. must be done at least 3 working days prior to the catering/event date.

    Booking Confirmation:

  • The client’s confirmation means the client has accepted our terms and conditions and the quotation.
  • Once the client’s deposit has been received, a receipt will be issued by Sardaar Caterers with a formal confirmation invoice which will include your draft menu, event summary and estimated cost based on the number of guests and selections made by the client at that time.

    Payment Terms:

  • A payment of 50% deposit is required at the time of booking or one week before the day of the event, whichever is earlier.
  • Remaining balance in 02 part payments - 25% due must be paid one day prior to the day of the event & the remaining 25% balance paid after the completion of the catering/event.

    Payment Method:
    All prices quoted are based on Cash / Cheque Payments or NEFT / RTGS only. No personal and cashable cheques are accepted. Taxes as applicable extra.

    Menu to Be Served:
    The Caterer reserve right to make minor changes to the menu only if ingredients are unable to be sourced from and, or due to the reasons beyond the control of an event.

    Guest Count:
    Our catering service depends on the fact that any event we undertake is separately planned, purchased and cooked. This does mean, however, that we have to have very strict terms regarding numbers -

  • All prices are quoted for a specific number of guests. When numbers drop, our overheads do not reduce proportionally and therefore our menu prices increase.
  • If the number of guests attending an event exceeds the number booked (and we are able to cater for them) we will charge for the greater number.
  • If the number of guests attending is less than the number you have booked, we’ll still charge the total number ordered by you.
  • Food Policy:

  • Quantity: caterer will prepare between 10% - 15% overage based on the final number of guest count registered by the client. Part of this overage is to include food for the staff and/or service providers.
  • Leftovers: it is not our policy to leave leftover food as it is never the same the following day. If, however, you wish to keep the food you must ask the event manager / in-charge on the site available. They will then transfer any left overs to your own dishes once the service staff have been fed.
  • Dietary requirements and allergies: Sardaar Caterers will try hard to provide suitable adaptions to the client's menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance.
  • Alcoholic beverages: Sardaar Caterers will never supply any form of alcoholic beverages for any kind of event.
